Volatility Technology was invited to attend the 2024 Geological Disaster Science and Technology Public Welfare Forum in Xi’an.
On May 11–12, 2024, Volatility Technology was invited to attend. The 2024 Geohazard Science and Technology Public Forum was held under the theme “Geohazard Mitigation through Science and Technology and the Safety of Major Engineering Projects.” More than 150 experts, scholars, and industry professionals gathered in Xi’an to discuss the causative mechanisms, evaluation theories, and prevention and control technologies related to geohazards in major engineering projects. The forum further strengthened exchanges in both theoretical and technical fields, thereby actively advancing efforts to enhance China’s capacity for geohazard prevention and mitigation.
At the conference, numerous experts and scholars from Chang’an University, China Railway First Survey and Design Institute, Lanzhou Institute of Earthquake Research of the China Earthquake Administration, Institute of Earth Environment of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Shaanxi Provincial Geological Survey, and the Institute of Geology and Geophysics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences each delivered academic presentations. Attendees engaged in a lively exchange of ideas, sparking intellectual dialogue and fostering mutual learning and collaboration to jointly advance development.
