On July 7, 2025, the inaugural meeting of the Hydrogeophysical Professional Committee of the Chinese Geophysical Society, together with the Academic Symposium on the New Future of Hydrogeophysics, was successfully held at the Hetian Grand Hotel in Wuhan, Hubei Province. At this conference, the Hydrogeophysical Professional Committee of the Chinese Geophysical Society was officially established, marking a new stage in the organized and systematic development of the hydrogeophysics discipline in China.
