On the afternoon of October 21, 2025, “Science and Economy Gathering” – Academicians Visit Enterprises The event was successfully held at the Lechuang Interconnect Incubator’s Roadshow Center in Qingshan District. Centered on the theme of “Breaking Barriers in Embankment Hazard Detection Technology,” the event brought together academicians and professors from Wuhan University, China University of Geosciences (Wuhan), and Wuhan University of Science and Technology, as well as experts from Central South Exploration Foundation Engineering Co., Ltd., China First Metallurgical Construction Group Co., Ltd., MCC Wuhan Exploration & Surveying Mapping and Geographic Information Co., Ltd., and Wuhan Kedaodi Geographic Information Engineering Co., Ltd. Participants from all sectors convened to jointly explore practical pathways for collaborative innovation among industry, academia, research, and application.

At the technical problem-solving exchange meeting, Yang Hongxing, General Manager of Volatility Technology The presentation briefly outlined the company’s four major technical challenges: alternative solutions for high‑precision positioning in complex occlusion environments; techniques for mitigating multipath‑induced coupling interference in differential positioning; robust high‑precision wireless time synchronization; and dynamic interference suppression in indoor high‑precision positioning. These four critical technical issues also served as the central focus of this roundtable discussion.

To break the technological impasse, the event has specially established “ Collaborative Innovation to Tackle Challenges Together — A thematic roundtable discussion on advancing the deep integration of industry, academia, research, and application in embankment‑related hazard detection technologies. Liu Jingnan, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and a pioneer in the application of satellite navigation and positioning technology in China. After listening to Volatility Technology’s technical requirements, it was clearly pointed out that the challenges raised by the company closely align with common issues in technologies related to lunar and space exploration. Moreover, such high-precision positioning and dynamic monitoring capabilities not only address current difficulties in embankment detection but also hold significant potential for applications in future scenarios, such as lunar surface environmental surveys and precise control of space-based equipment.
