Meanwhile, full-polarimetric radar can measure the target’s scattering polarization matrix, significantly expanding the amount of extractable information. By analyzing echo signals across different polarization states, it not only enhances the quality of both shallow‑ and deep‑penetrating reflections, revealing richer target details, but also effectively distinguishes various potential hazard targets in complex environments, improving the radar’s ability to penetrate subsurface or underwater obstacles and providing robust physical‑feature support for subsequent target identification and localization.
Leveraging these two core technologies, the equipment not only provides high‑precision data for advanced geological exploration and structural durability assessment in the intelligent construction of underwater tunnels—efficiently identifying hidden risks in complex conditions such as high water pressure and composite ground strata and helping to refine disaster‑prevention and control strategies—but also, with its exceptional intelligent detection capabilities, injects powerful technological momentum into the safe operation and digital transformation of underwater tunnels throughout their entire lifecycle, making it one of the standout highlights at the conference.
