The underground pipe detector is specifically designed for the detection project "Detection and evidence collection of privately installed underground pipes or the use of seepage wells, seepage pits, cracks, and caves for discharge" according to the environmental pollution judicial law. It can clearly show various underground pipelines and illegally discharged pipes, including metal and non-metal pipes; it can complete the investigation of pollutant distribution in a non-invasive manner on the ground, such as the penetration of landfills, oil and gas leakage pollution near the ground and gas stations, and pollution caused by industrial wastewater discharge, obtaining data such as the leakage range and pollution level and providing the main basic data for governance.

This detection uses the BD-GPR-200M series ground penetrating radar launched by Wuhan Bo Dong Technology for the detection of underground pipe sewage.

According to the collected images, four pipelines are buried underground, and one underground pipe (buried depth about 1.3m) is identified through the design drawings. The data is accurate, verified using a pipeline robot and drone.
