From August 15 to 17, 2025, the 2025 Academic Annual Conference of the Engineering Geophysics Professional Committee of the Chinese Geophysical Society was grandly held in Taizhou, Zhejiang. This conference gathered hundreds of authoritative experts and scholars in the field of engineering exploration to conduct in-depth discussions around three core directions: focusing on a new round of breakthrough strategic actions in mineral exploration, pioneering new paths in mineral exploration through technological innovation; concentrating on urban geological safety risk prevention and control, exploring underground space hazard identification and control technologies; deeply cultivating infrastructure fields such as transportation, water conservancy, and new energy, analyzing engineering geological issues such as geological route selection and foundation assessment. These research outcomes will provide technical references and practical ideas for major projects, supporting economic and social development and industry innovation.

 

At the conference site, Wave Technology representatives highlighted three core devices independently developed and produced by the company: the BD-GPR-U series deep geological radar, BD-BRD borehole radar, and BD-GPR-600 ground-penetrating radar. These devices can detect the physical properties of special soils such as soft soil and coastal sedimentary soil, providing scientific basis for road foundation design in the Yangtze River Delta; efficiently inspect geological risks such as roadbed settlement and underground pipeline hazards, ensuring the safety of regional transportation engineering construction; and explore the burial environment of underground cultural relics in water towns, building a technical defense line for cultural heritage protection. With these application advantages, they successfully attracted the attention of attendees. In addition, Wave Technology representatives introduced to Academician Di Qingyun and Researcher Xu Peifen the core technological advantages and typical application scenarios of deep geological radar, directional borehole geological radar, and stepped-frequency geological radar equipment. Their innovative technological concepts and practical applicability were recognized and praised by the two experts.
