On August 28, 2025, the 11th Member Representative Conference and Academic Exchange Meeting of the Soil Mechanics and Foundation Professional Committee of the Shaanxi Civil Engineering Society was grandly held in Xi'an. At the meeting, the host delivered a welcome speech , followed by the re-election process to select the 11th committee team. After the re-election, the academic exchange session began. In the first half, experts shared technologies related to pile foundations and slope protection; in the second half, focusing on engineering challenges, experts explained topics such as loess disaster research, subway ground fissure crossing technology, bio-soil stabilization, and static pressure pile planting processes, providing innovative solutions for complex geological and constrained environment engineering.

At the meeting site, the representative of Bodong Technology highlighted one of the company's independently developed core devices: the BD-GPR-900 ground-penetrating radar. This device can detect the physical properties of loess prone to collapse, aeolian sand, and other characteristic geotechnical materials in Northwest China, providing scientific basis for road, bridge, and tunnel foundation design in Shaanxi and surrounding areas; it can efficiently identify geological risks such as loess subgrade settlement, frost heave, and hidden underground pipeline hazards, supporting the safe advancement of transportation engineering construction in Northwest China. Whether meeting the foundation data needs for road construction in loess areas or addressing geological risk inspections in transportation projects, its application advantages tailored to the Northwest region successfully attracted the attention of attendees.

From the academic exchange perspective, the conference gathered cutting-edge technologies and research achievements in soil mechanics and foundation fields.
